A short drive from Northern Virginia led us to the “Treehouse” – a beautiful home surrounded by tall, stately trees on Lake Anna featuring beautiful views, comfortable and impeccably clean accommodations, and a very short walk to the water. This serene venue provided exactly the respite we needed from months of hectic schedules to decompress and fully relax. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and made our stay even more enjoyable than expected. Outfitted with high quality towels, linens and soaps in the bathrooms, and equipped with a washer and dryer, we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We had planned to stay in and cook while we were there, and the kitchen had all the pots, pans, knives and equipment needed – even oils and spices! Nothing was overlooked in preparing this home. All instructions and communication with the owners was friendly and efficient. We can’t wait to come back in the summer and really experience the lake even more, but just viewing it as part of a long nature walk was inspiring. The whole experience was just delightful! The bed I slept in was wonderfully comfortable, and there were so many inviting spots to relax—from the main living room and the upstairs sitting area to the screened-in porch and spacious deck.
